A cartography of memory built through body, landscape and time. The exhibition brought together photography and video from the series Horizontes, Abismos, Reminiscencias and La vida tras la ventana, in a dialogue between intimate experience and shared memory. During his stay, David Catá extended the series with a new Horizonte made in situ at Sugarloaf Mountain, incorporating the landscape of Rio de Janeiro into his work. Organised by the Instituto Cervantes of Rio de Janeiro, with the support of the Cultural Office of the Spanish Embassy in Brazil.

In the heart of Malasaña, my work dialogued with a space that breathes art and community. Horizontes offered a visual and emotional journey where memory, body and landscape interweave through the dandelion seed, an attempt to name what escapes, to fix in the air what has already been.

CORPUS was an international exhibition devoted to exploring the body as a territory of identity, memory and transformation, bringing together artists from different countries. David Catá presented a selection of works centred on the body as a support for memory and took part, on the occasion of the show, in a talk broadcast by videoconference between Spain and the United States, alongside artists from France, Portugal, Switzerland and Germany.
