About the series
Abismos is a visual and emotional journey that explores memory, the passing of time and hope in dreams. Catá uses the dandelion seed as a metaphor for the longings we set free to fly in moments of uncertainty.
Each image is the result of merging the landscapes that surround him with a thread coated in dandelion seeds. This thread, woven into the horizon of the landscape, creates an optical effect, a moment of fusion where sky and earth meet as one.
