Déjame volar
We are as fleeting as the wind, and like it we fly.
About the series
Déjame volar explores the fleeting nature of life through material objects and the people close to him. Using dandelion seeds as a metaphor for life, Catá carefully attaches them to various objects and surfaces, symbolising the fragility and transience of existence.
We are as fleeting as the wind, and like it we fly. We vanish, leaving behind a trace, a seed, a spark of life that keeps us alive in memory.
In a frustrated sigh I try to let you fly, I try to let you go… but you return to me as the pain of a past that can never be repeated.
