Painting & sculpture
David Catá’s painting and sculpture: oil and acrylic on canvas and wood.
I work with landscape as an emotional territory — not as a specific place, but as the trace that remains in memory. The images appear fragmented, suspended between what is remembered and what fades away.
I’m interested in the process, the layers and the silences that matter leaves behind. Painting thus becomes a space of attention and listening, where time stops and the image stays open, without imposing itself.
